Stainless steel 310 seamless (SMLS) pipes are austenitic stainless steel pipes manufactured to ASTM A312 / ASME SA-312 TP 310. They are designated under UNS S31000 (Werkstoff 1.4841). The 25Cr-20Ni composition contains 24–26% chromium and 19–22% nickel, delivering exceptional high-temperature oxidation resistance. These pipes hold structural stability in continuous service up to 1150°C (2100°F) and intermittent service up to 1035°C (1900°F). Minimum tensile strength is 515 MPa (75 ksi) with a yield strength of 205 MPa (30 ksi) and an elongation of 35%. These pipes also resist carburisation, sulphidation, and thermal cycling in furnace atmospheres.
