Monel tube is a nickel-copper alloy tubular product manufactured primarily from Monel 400 (UNS N04400), containing a minimum of 63% nickel and 28 to 34% copper. The alloy resists corrosion in seawater, hydrofluoric acid, and alkaline media.

In annealed condition, Monel tube offers minimum tensile strength of 70 ksi (480 MPa), yield strength of 28 ksi (195 MPa), and 35% elongation with toughness from subzero to 1,000 °F. Tubing is produced in seamless (ASTM B165 / ASME SB-165), welded (ASTM B730 / ASME SB-730), and condenser forms (ASTM B163 / ASME SB-163).
