Stainless Steel 202 CR Sheet is a 200-series austenitic stainless steel flat product manufactured to ASTM A240 / ASME SA-240, Type 202 (UNS S20200). The alloy belongs to the Cr-Mn-Ni family; it consists of 17.0–19.0% chromium, 4.0–6.0% nickel, and 7.50–10.00% manganese. Manganese and nitrogen partially substitute for nickel, reducing material cost while preserving the austenitic crystal structure.

Minimum tensile strength is 620 MPa (90 ksi), yield strength is 260 MPa (38 ksi), and elongation reaches 40%. Hardness does not exceed HRB 100 / HB 241. Cold rolling produces tighter dimensional tolerances and smoother surface quality than hot-rolled variants. The grade provides moderate corrosion resistance, good formability, and a density of approximately 7.8 g/cm³.
